The purpose of this site is to offer a “Rope Bondage 101” - a basic course that will equip newcomers to choose sensible equipment, to understand basic safety issues,  to tie simply and effectively, and to gain enough knowledge and skill to be able to go further.

This site is not intended to deal with intermediate or advanced aspects of rope bondage. Those (also other forms of bondage) are dealt with in the tutorial section of the Convolvulus members’ paysite <www.convolvulus.net> and in various other places.
